Dairy favourites and protein innovations are winners for Graham’s

SCOTTISH dairy firm Graham’s The Family Dairy has delivered a record turnover for the business following new retail listings across the UK and protein-focused innovations.
The family-run dairy reported an 11% increase in sales to £172million – representing an increase by more than £17million – with pre-tax profits of £4.5million for the year ending April 2026.
Robert Graham, managing director at Graham’s The Family Dairy, said: “As a family business, choosing to focus on our brand wasn’t just a commercial decision, it was about staying true to who we are. We know what the Graham’s name means to people, and today’s shoppers care more than ever about where their food comes from.”
The independent dairy has put its success for this year down to the continued demand for traditional dairy favourites as well as an innovative approach for high-protein products, which in turn has helped them to secure new listings across the UK.
As a result of this, Graham’s has reported that its range of products is now making its way into kitchens across England. According to Worldpanel by Numerator data, the brand is now present in one in five English households with the brand’s reach surging by 62.3% in the year to July 2026 as more consumers outside of Scotland discover its range.
To support this rising demand, Graham’s has reinvested £4.1million in capital expenditure, with a focus on the further expansion of the dairy’s cottage cheese and protein manufacturing facilities.
Robert Graham added: “The strong sales growth achieved in 2026 has continued into 2027, despite significant inflationary pressures on fuel, energy and packaging costs, driven largely by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. While these challenges persist, we remain committed to delivering high-quality dairy products to our customers and continuing to invest in the future of the business.
“As a family business and Scotland’s number one food brand, we are immensely proud of what we have achieved. From our origins as a family farm, to becoming one of the UK’s leading dairy businesses, we continue to invest in people, products, farming partnerships and manufacturing capability.”
