Emmi drives up sharing opportunities with cheese Melts

DAIRY products brand Emmi is set to drive up sharing opportunities across the season with the launch of its new cheese Melts range.
Aiming to bring a point of difference to the occasion, Emmi Melts offers consumers a collection of indulgent melting cheeses that have been designed to help create memorable moments around the table.
The range consists of three easy-to-serve formats with Classic Fondue, Classic Raclette and Classic Swiss Dip. Each offers a different way for people to get involved, from dipping into the Classic Fondue, to melting the Classic Raclette over dishes or simply serving the Swiss Cheese Dip alongside a grazing spread.
Each pack has been designed with simplicity in mind as well, says Emmi, with minimal preparation required from consumers to allow them more time to enjoy the night in with loved ones or friends.
The Emmi Melts range consists of a range of pack sizes and prices with the Classic Fondue 400g pack set at £5.75 RRP, Classic Raclette at £4.70 RRP per 200g bag and the 150g Classic Swiss Cheese Dip comes in at £2.95 RRP.
Sarah Meyer, Emmi cheese brand accelerator manager, said: “With our fondue expertise dating back to 1913, we know that melted cheese has a natural ability to bring people together. That’s the thinking behind Emmi Melts – making it incredibly simple to create those moments at home.
“We know hosting can sometimes feel like a lot of work, but it doesn’t have to be. Emmi Melts is the ultimate hosting hack: minimal preparation, plenty of opportunity to get creative and, most importantly, something everyone can gather around and enjoy together.
“With so many people eating separately, there’s never been a better time to make food more sociable. Fondue, raclette and cheese dip naturally invite people to get involved, share and linger around the table – and there’s something about melted cheese that makes any occasion feel a little more special.
“For retailers, we see a clear opportunity to broaden the role of melting cheese beyond traditional festive occasions and make it relevant to more informal hosting moments throughout the year.”
