Drinks giant CCEP has rolled out a limited edition festive variant for the Coca-Cola range with the new Holiday Creamy Vanilla flavour.

DRINKS giant Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has unveiled a new festive flavour for the Coca-Cola range with the new Holiday Creamy Vanilla variant.

Available for a limited time during the holiday season, the new variant combines Coca-Cola with a smooth, creamy vanilla twist to offer shoppers an ideal refreshment for Christmas catch-ups and cosy afternoons this winter.

The new flavour comes in both Original Taste and Zero Sugar to appeal to consumer choice throughout the festive season while also appealing to the Christmas treat moment.

The range comes in a variety of formats consisting of 330ml cans, eight packs of 330ml cans, 500ml PET bottles and 1.75 litre PET bottles. Additionally, the Zero Sugar variant also comes in a two litre format. Price-marked options for both the 500ml and 1.75 litre formats are also available.

This marks the latest flavour variant for the Coca-Cola range since the introduction of the Coca-Cola Cherry Float launch which hit shelves earlier this year.

To help drive up awareness for the new launch, CCEP has rolled out a suite of free PoS materials for store owners to make the most out of. This is available via MyCCEP.com.

Rob Yeomans, VP for commercial development at CCEP, said: “Coca-Cola has a long association with Christmas, so it’s a great moment to give shoppers a new twist on a brand they already know and love.

“Flavour innovation is a great way to create excitement around the cola fixture and encourage shoppers to try something different, and we’re looking forward to seeing how people respond to Holiday Creamy Vanilla when it lands in stores.

“More than half of festive flavour soft drinks missions are unplanned, so visibility will be particularly important. We’d encourage retailers to make the new flavour easy to spot, keep single-serve packs chilled and use larger formats to cater for sharing and get-together occasions in the run-up to and over Christmas.”
