Experiential Golden Wonder event returns for 2026

CRISPS brand Golden Wonder has announced the return of its experiential city tour campaign World of Wonder following on from the success of the activation last year.
The Scottish-born crisps brand is set to take the interactive experience to both Glasgow and Edinburgh this year, giving thousands more customers the chance to interact with the activation and bring the Golden Wonder brand to the forefront of their minds as well.
More than 2,000 shoppers are expected to visit the two events, while additional thousands of packs of Golden Wonder are set to be given out across the two cities, putting the brand directly into consumers’ hands and driving trial.
The Golden Wonder World of Wonder exhibit will visit:
Glasgow – St Enoch Centre across 11 and 12 September.
Edinburgh – Waverly Market across 25 and 26 September.
The event has been designed to celebrate the brand’s reputation for bold flavours and will allow visitors to work directly with Golden Wonder flavour experts to create their own personalised crisp seasoning. Each participant will leave with a bespoke bag of crisps, a pot of their unique flavour along with a selection of Golden Wonder products.
The campaign will also be further amplified through some high-profile marketing including Capital Radio advertising and an extensive social media marketing that is set to reach millions of customers across Scotland.
Matt Smith, marketing director at parent firm Tayto Group, said: “The response to World of Wonder last year was fantastic, so we’re delighted to be bringing it back on an even bigger scale. By expanding to both Glasgow and Edinburgh, we’re giving even more consumers the opportunity to experience the fun, creativity and bold flavours that Golden Wonder is known for.
“It’s a brilliant way to engage directly with shoppers, generate excitement around the brand and remind people why Golden Wonder continues to deliver More Punch Per Crunch.”
