Limited edition flavour to fire up tastebuds this summer

ESSEX-BASED premium crisps producer Fairfields Farm has unveiled a bold new limited edition flavour with the roll out of its new Cajun Barbecue crisps.
Landing in June, the release introduces a rich and smoky flavour profile to the brand’s range and brings a unique twist to its handcooked crisps selection, while also marking the launch of its first-ever ridge-cut crisp.
The new flavour has been inspired by classic barbecue cooking with a recipe that brings a smoky, savoury depth with a warming Cajun spice. Shoppers should taste a mixture of paprika, garlic, onion and black pepper that is balanced with the gentle Cajun heat and tangy tomato barbecue twist.
Fairfields reckons the new launch will make for a key addition to afternoon snacks across the summer months that can be paired well with an ice-cold drink and dip on the side.
The limited-edition Fairfields Farm Cajun Barbecue crisps will launch in a 150g sharing pack and will be available across wholesalers, selected retailers and the brand’s website from June. As a seasonal release, the flavour will only be available for a limited time while stocks last.
Robert and Laura Strathern, co-founders of Fairfields Farm, said: “Our new Cajun Barbecue flavour is all about bold, layered taste, combining smoky barbecue richness with a warming Cajun spice blend.
“Launching it as our first ever ridge-cut crisp makes it even more exciting, as the deeper cut really holds the flavour and delivers an even bigger crunch. We can’t wait to hear what people think.”
