Bringing cinematic fun to the fruit aisles this summer

Fresh fruit brand Del Monte has announced a new partnership with animation powerhouse Disney Pixar in time for the new movie Toy Story 5.

FRESH fruit brand Del Monte has announced a partnership with animation powerhouses Disney Pixar for the filmmakers’ upcoming movie Toy Story 5.

Set to bring some of the magic of the cinema to store aisles, the new on-pack promotion will roll out across the UK and multiple international markets from May to September 2026.

Timed to coincide with the film’s cinema release on 19 June, the campaign will see iconic characters from the film series including Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie featured on packs across millions of Del Monte products worldwide.

The collaboration will span across fresh, prepared and fresh cut ranges and is designed to deliver some additional stand out across shelves and drive shopper engagement during the peak summer trading period, especially with families.

In the UK, the on-pack promotion will be featured across a broad range of Del Monte SKUs including Peach Slices and Fruit Cocktail in Juice as well as the brand’s juice drinks variants such as Pineapple and Mango & Papaya.

The activation will also extend into the fresh category, with bananas and select pineapple lines carrying promotional stickers as well as fresh cut products including fruit platters and ready-to-eat watermelon and pineapple packs.

At the core of this campaign is a global consumer competition that will offer one lucky shopper a grand prize of an “Ultimate Action-Packed Family Adventure to San Francisco”.

Inspired by Disney Pixar’s Toy Story 5, the prize includes a five-night stay in San Francisco with a curated itinerary of immersive, play-inspired experiences from exploring global landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge and travel the city in a toy-style car, to visiting a science and space centre and hands-on activities including toy making and a city-wide scavenger hunt.

The competition is open to residents aged 18 and over across participating markets including the UK and Ireland.
