MEMBERS of The Federation of Independent Retailers (The Fed) are set to benefit from an exclusive promotion via UK wholesaler Bestway.

Available only to Fed members, retailers will be able to save hundreds in cash while unlocking strong margin opportunities through the new Bestway Voucher Book.

Hetal Patel, national president at The Fed, said: “The past few months have been extremely challenging for the convenience sector, with independent retailers facing unprecedented pressures from rising operating costs, red tape and soaring incidents of retail crime.

“From April, it will get even harder, with new minimum wage rates taking effect, along with some elements of the new Employment Bill. During such difficult times, Fed members need all the help they can get.

“This is the first time we have worked with Bestway and I am really excited and grateful to the wholesaler for providing these fantastic deals for our members, giving them the chance to both save money and make money.”

Each book is packed with 40 deals and offers across a range of leading products and Bestway own-label brands providing store owners the chance to save hundreds of pounds.

Fed members can redeem the vouchers across Bestway’s 56 depots across the UK until 31 May. The Fed also said that if all 40 vouchers are used, retailers stand to save themselves up to £430.

The vouchers cover a wide range of categories including soft drinks, energy drinks, confectionery, snacks, grocery, RTDs, spirits, wines, beers and vapes.

And from among these categories, major FMCG brands are included such as Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, AG Barr, KP Snacks, Asahi, Blu and Elf.

Dawood Pervez, managing director at Bestway Wholesale, said: “At Bestway, we have proudly supported independent retailers for over 50 years, so partnering with the Fed is a natural fit. The organisation plays a vital role in representing and supporting independent retailers across the UK, and together we share the same goal – helping local businesses stay competitive, profitable and at the heart of their communities.

“Through this partnership, including initiatives such as our exclusive Bestway Voucher Book for Fed members, we are providing retailers with access to strong value across a broad range of everyday categories.

“Running over a two-month period, the programme will feature a mix of multi-buy, free-case and money-off promotions across key lines including soft drinks, energy drinks, confectionery, snacks, grocery and licensed products, alongside great value from our Best-in own label range. This initiative is designed to help retailers drive footfall, strengthen margins and stock up on best-selling lines with confidence during a key trading period.”
