Spar kicks off new ‘Spin into Spring’ activation

Spar Scotland has kicked off its spring activation ‘Spin into Spring’ in a bid to drive up engagement with shoppers and raise footfall across its estate.

SCOTTISH symbol group Spar Scotland has launched its exclusive promotion for the spring with ‘Spin into Spring‘ in a bid to drive footfall across its locations.

The new digital shoppers activation will run until 22 April and is exclusive to Spar Scotland retailers and stores.

Through the promotion, Spar shoppers will be able to take part in a spin to win style game, which is accessed via a dedicated website playable by customers up to three times. Each spin will give shoppers the chance to win a free product or money-off digital vouchers which can be redeemed across Spar Scotland stores.

In total, customers will be able to redeem over 150,000 digital vouchers spanning across every in-store category.

In addition to these instant-win prizes, customers who play the game three times will also unlock a bonus Scratch & Win mechanic which guarantees an instant prize and further incentivises engagement and repeat store visits.

And to further build consumer engagement, Spar Scotland is offering consumers the chance to bag a grand prize through the competition of £10,000 cash.

The campaign will be further supported across in-store POS materials along with digital elements including on-screen advertisements, radio advertising and vehicle livery to help ensure strong visibility both in and out of Spar stores.

Spar Scotland retailers have also received communications and top tips to help maximise this participation and voucher redemptions, alongside additional incentives linked to compliance and standout in-store execution.

“By combining simple gamification with instant rewards that are redeemed in-store, we are creating a campaign that delivers value for shoppers, retailers and suppliers alike.

“This is our third gamification campaign, but the first to be exclusive to SPAR Scotland retailers, which has allowed us to really focus on supporting our stores and maximising impact.

“With fantastic supplier backing and strong in-store execution planned, Spin into Spring sets the tone for what will be a huge summer for SPAR Scotland, as the nation looks ahead to celebrating Scotland’s participation in the forthcoming World Cup.”
