CCEP has blended a nostalgic classic with modern tastes to deliver a new variant in the Coca-Cola flavour line-up with its Coca-Cola Cherry Float.

DRINKS giant Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has blended together a nostalgic flavour to match modern day tastes with its new Coca-Cola Cherry Float launch.

Available on shelves from February, the new Coca-Cola Cherry Float variant comes with in the Original Taste (full sugar) and Zero Sugar variants to match consumer demand for health.

Inspired by the nostalgic taste for classic soda float options, the new Coca-Cola Cherry Float and Coca-Cola Cherry Float Zero Sugar allows shoppers to pick their cherry favourites from across the range.

Rob Yeomans, VP for commercial development at CCEP GB, said: “This launch is set to be a standout performer. Coca-Cola is the number one soft drinks brand in GB, cherry flavours have contributed more than half of cola segment growth over the last year, and soda floats are bang on trend right now. It’s a winning combination, and we’ve got some high-profile marketing activity lined up to help retailers make the most of it.”

The new launch follows on a rise in demand for cherry flavours across the soft drinks space, something CCEP has already matched demand with such as through its Dr Pepper Cherry Crush launch, which also recently rolled out a marketing campaign in time for Valentine’s Day.Pack shots of Coca-Cola Cherry Float 500ml bottle and Coca-Cola Cherry Float Zero Sugar eight can multipack.

The new Coca-Cola Cherry Float variant will be available as a permanent addition to the range across 330ml cans, 500ml bottles, two litre bottles as well as in a multipack of eight 330ml cans.
