Top products take home the gongs for 2026
THE annual Product of the Year Awards has unveiled its winning products for 2026, highlighting those products worth stocking up on for the year ahead.
The winners for this year were unveiled at glamorous ceremony in London’s Quaglino’s and hosted by TV host and star of BBC’s The Traitors, Claudia Winkleman. The Awards celebrate those most innovative products on the UK market as voted by 8,000 consumers making this the UK’s largest consumer-voted award for product innovation.
Covering category-defining products to those everyday essentials that consumers rely on, the Product of the Year seeks to highlight those winning new launches from across food and drink, home, personal care, health and lifestyle categories.
When it comes to the food market, winners for 2026 include the likes of the Cheez-It Snap’d range, which has seen some widespread success since the brand launched in the UK market in 2024. Additionally, Birds Eye returned to the awards once again this year with the win for its Captain Discoveries.
Kellogg’s saw its own success with its Bluey Breakfast Cereal winning a seat at the Product of the Year table for this year and fellow kids snack brand Onken KiddOs range was recognised for its all natural ingredients and its vitamin D fortification.
When it came to the drinks selection however, dairy firm Arla swept the table with five wins across multiple categories including for its Protein Milkshake range. Additionally, Highland Spring took home a gong for Scotland for its Apple & Blackcurrant Flavoured Water.
For the off-trade, Heineken saw its Inch’s Cloudy Apple Cider recognised for its lightly sparkling natural drink and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners was recognised for its bar-quality classic RTD Bacardà & Coca-Cola.
Helga Slater, managing director at Product of the Year, said: “Each product represents the very cutting edge of product innovation in this country, voted for by the people who matter most – the consumers.
“Recognition is vital and we’re proud to be able to do just that. Watch out for one of the UK FMCG’s most recognisable red logos on packaging in supermarkets, online and even on billboards. These products are the cream of the crop.”
