SWA keeps the party going into the small hours with exclusive party

THE Scottish Wholesale Association (SWA) has announced a new after-party celebration will now be part of its upcoming Achievers Awards ceremony in February 2026.
Coming as the judging process for the Awards night nears its completion, the SWA has revealed the new after-party will ensure that guests keep the party alive until 2am and should expect plenty of dancing, drinks as well as a few surprises as well.
The addition of the after-party, which will take place in the same venue at the Corn Exchange – formerly the O2 Academy Edinburgh – sees the Achievers continue to evolve its offer, says the SWA, and allows the very best in the wholesale industry to create even greater memories and celebrate together.
The landmark event, which is now in its 23rd year, offers up 14 wholesale category awards and five supplier focused awards to be won and provides an ideal opportunity for wholesalers to gain recognition for their innovation and customer service.
In addition to this, the Achievers also exists to mark out those individuals in the channel who are most dedicated to the sector in various roles.
Colin Smith, chief executive at the SWA, said: “We’re very much looking forward to welcoming wholesalers, suppliers and guests to Achievers 2026 when, for the first time, we will hold an exclusive after-party to keep the celebrations going.
“It’s so important that we celebrate not just the ever-evolving innovation within our industry but also the outstanding people who deliver and service Scotland’s 5,200 convenience stores and 30,000 tourism, hospitality, and leisure outlets – not forgetting schools, prisons and hospitals.
“We’ve hope everyone will join us at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh next February to celebrate our industry and shine a very bright spotlight on an industry and its people who don’t always get the recognition they deserve.”
