Spin into Spring with Spar Scotland promotion

SCOTTISH symbol group Spar Scotland has unveiled an exclusive digital activation for 2026 with its new ‘Spin into Spring’ mechanic.
Designed to attract new shoppers and boost footfall for Spar stores across the country, the new ‘Spin into Spring’ promotion combines gamification, instant rewards and brand interaction to deliver a fun and engaging shopping experience for Spar customers.
Running for 42 days from 12 March, the campaign will encourage consumers to take part in a daily spin-to-win game via a dedicated web app. Each play offers an instant opportunity to receive FMCG-branded digital vouchers for free products or money-off rewards redeemable exclusively at Spar stores.
Over 250,000 instant reward vouchers will be available, issued digitally and redeemable within seconds. Shoppers can also unlock a bonus game and guaranteed reward by engaging with the app three times during the campaign, helping to drive repeat use and store visits.
In addition to these instant rewards, Spar Scotland is also offering one lucky consumer the chance to win a £10,000 cash reward as part of a grand prize draw to conclude the promotion.
The campaign will be supported by a full consumer and trade PR launch, in-store POS and digital screen ads along with a presence across the web and social media channels. Spar Scotland stores will also receive communications with top tips to help maximise participation, with additional incentives for store compliance and competitions that will reward best campaign displays and voucher redemptions.

We are giving shoppers a fresh reason to visit our stores more often, while offering brand partners an impactful, measurable way to drive trial and awareness at scale.
“There are various supplier packages available, each offering a mix of brand exposure, in-store activation, and digital reach. Platinum partners will also feature on a vehicle livery, maximising visibility across Scotland throughout the campaign.
“Sign up in terms of suppliers looking to participate has been incredible since our virtual briefing last month. We have extended the deadline until 14th November, and I would urge any supplier who has not already signed up to contact our Trading Team now.”
