NOSTALGIC sweets manufacturer Stockley’s Sweets has moved to a new purpose-built facility with the ambition to enhance its production capabilities.

Known for its classic confectionery treats as well as indulgent chocolate and fudge variants, Stockley’s now seeks to embrace this new chapter in the firm’s 107 year-long history and grow further within the confectionery space.

Further to this, the firm has also managed to retain its production team as part of the custom-made facility move with the new factory only 10 miles down the road from its previous site.

The move comes as the firm says it has “out-grown” the former location due to its ambitious vision and consistent double-digit growth in sales figures and now seeks to match this rising demand through the brand new facility to cater to growing customer-base.

Mark Adcock, managing director at Stockley’s, said: “It is now imperative that a business enjoying positive growing pains was both willing and able to take the next step to a new, purpose-built facility that could fulfil its significant growth ambitions; whilst staying true to the business’s proud Lancashire roots.”
