
THE Scottish Grocer is delighted to announce that the host of the Scottish Grocer Awards 2025 is Scottish music star and TV presenter, Michelle McManus.
Best known as the winner of Pop Idol 2003, McManus will take to the stage on 5th November as part of the glittering awards ceremony that celebrates the very best of Scotland’s convenience sector.
Aside from being the first Scottish female to debut at the top of the UK Singles Chart, McManus also has several presenting jobs under her belt; STV’s The Hour, a regular on Loose Women, a DJ on Clyde 1 and has dipped her toe into acting, performing in several tours of The Vagina Monologues. Currently, she presents The Entertainment Show on BBC Scotland and hosts a radio show on BBC Radio Scotland .
The mum of two has also been know to hang out with Mr Robbie Williams, including joining him on stage for the Edinburgh leg of his tour this year.
McManus said: “I am really looking forward to hosting the Scottish Grocer Awards this year and to be part of one of the biggest nights in the Scottish convenience retail calendar. There are so many hard-working people in this sector and I can’t wait to hear their stories first-hand.”
