Love Drinks embraces the functional benefits of lager

Off-trade distributor Love Drinks has added the new British brand Roley’s to its portfolio with the launch of the brand’s Super Natural Lager, a beer with some unique benefits.

BRITISH drinks brand Roley’s has joined the Love Drinks portfolio with its launch of its Super Natural Lager, a 4.4% ABV beer with some unique added benefits.

Rolling out in the UK via Love Drinks, the new brew uses a secret scientific process and all-natural ingredients to create what the brand has called its “Super Natural Elixir” that benefits the lager by removing sugars, lowering carbs and retaining B3, B5, B6+B9 vitamins which can help reduce inflammation and support energy.

The pioneering functional lager also has just 89 calories per 330mlcan, which is 35.8% fewer than a standard 4.4% ABV beer says Love Drinks.

Developed by English entrepreneur Stewart Rowley, the Super Natural Lager provides these added benefits without compromising on flavour, mouthfeel or quality.

Rowley said: “Like many former athletes, I learned the hard way that you can’t keep eating like a rugby player when you’re no longer training like one.

“After I stopped playing, the weight started creeping on, and as I was working in the fast-paced drinks industry, it meant I was drinking most days.

“Before long, I found myself struggling to perform, both personally and professionally. That’s when Roley’s journey began.

“My question was ‘could I create a great tasting, full-bodied beer with beneficial nutrients but without the excess calories and sugar? That was 13 years ago, and the answer was ‘yes’ so here we are.

“It’s been an incredible journey to this point and I’m thrilled to launch Roley’s Super Natural Lager for the coming summer.”

Available in a 330ml can now, the new Roley’s Super Natural Lager comes with an RSP of £2.95 per can.

This new addition to the Love Drinks range follows on from the firm adding the French Brunette Coffee Liqueur brand to its portfolio.
