Kellanova heads to Glasgow for depot takeovers

SNACKING giant Kellanova is set to hit the road this summer with its two brand Pringles and Cheez-It for two weeks of wholesaler depot takeovers.
Aiming to showcase how retailers can drive up some sizzling snack sales during a key season for convenience, Pringles and Cheez-It will join forces to present the firm’s first ever ‘Flavour Fest ’25’.
Running from 16 June to 10 July, the brands will roll out across major depots across the whole UK and will see a raft of exciting in-depot activity.
The roadshow will kick off in Glasgow on 16 June as Kellanova will make visits to both the United Wholesale Scotland Queenslie depot as well as United Wholesale Grocers‘ depot in Springburn.
Retailers in attendance at the events will have the chance to sample some new flavours from the brand, enjoy some “unbeatable ‘one-day-only'” offers including 50% POR deals, enter into some exciting prize giveaways and access new and exclusive PoS bundles to help drive up visibility for the brands across stores.
These depot takeovers also follow on from the announcement that Pringles Hot Blazin’ Fried Chicken flavour has rolled out to the convenience channel.
Dedicated Pringles and Cheez-It representatives will also be on-hand during the day to provide some expert guidance, category insights and actionable merchandising strategies to help retailers maximise the snacking opportunity and boost their bottom line this summer.
Rebecca Worthington, salty snacks marketing lead at Kellanova, said: “The convenience channel plays a crucial part in our brand’s overall retail strategy, so we’re excited to hit the road and connect with retailers from across the country during our inaugural Flavour Fest ’25.
“We want retailers to walk away not just with great deals, but with ideas, tools and confidence to drive their snack sales. Flavour Fest ’25 is all about supporting the convenience channel and helping them make this season a standout success. Don’t miss it!”
