New format to bring Flyers out the door and into pockets

NOSTALGIC sweets firm Stockley’s has announced a new format for its Liquorice Flyers range with the new Four Pack Multi-flavour Flyers.
Flying out onto shelves this May, Stockley’s reckons this new format will help to further tap into the growth that the Liquorice Flyers brand has been enjoying as of late, with sales up 34% over the last 12 months for Flyers.
Each pack comes with an RSP of 79p and includes a mix of different flavours made up of Strawberry, Orange and Lemon which comes from fruit flavoured crystal centres for the Liquorice tubes.
And later down the line, Stockley’s is set to expand on this four-pack format with a new Super Sours four pack which will include flavours such as Cherry, Apple and Blue Raspberry and aims to respond to the rising demand for more sour sweet options in the market.
This marks the latest product development for the Liquorice Flyers range after the brand introduced its Cherry Flyers variant in August 2024, helping to introduce a more sour flavour to the brand in doing so.
Andy Valentine, spokesperson for Flyers, said: “With a blossoming presence that has spread from old-school sweet shops to supermarkets, garage forecourts, convenience stores garden centres and coffee shops, we’re now intrigued to see if a renaissance that accelerated with the launch of tangy cherry 12 months ago can be further accelerated with the presence of an everyday affordable impulse pack.”
