Fruit juice brand blends in a healthier offer

FRUIT juice brand Tropicana has unveiled its new selection of healthier drinks choices with the Fresh & Light range.
Containing 30% less sugar than the average blended juice drinks, the new Tropicana Fresh & Light drinks mixes together fruit juices and water to deliver a healthier option for consumers who are looking to cut back on their sugar intake.
The new range comes in three different flavours consisting of Crisp Apple with Grape, Morning Orange with Mandarin & Apple and Tropical. Both Morning Orange and Tropical come in a 850ml format as well as a 1.45 litre carton and the Crisp Apple variant is exclusive to the 850ml. The 850ml format has an RRP of £2.75.
Select Tropicana Fresh & Light SKUs are available across Asda stores now and will roll out across Spar, Nisa and Sainsbury’s locations from the end of April. The range will then roll out to Morrisons and Tesco stores from early May.
Sophie Loveday-Davies, marketing manager at Tropicana, said: “The juice category has seen a decline in shoppers due to the rising cost of fruit juice and concerns over sugar intake, so Tropicana has addressed those with the launch of Fresh & Light.
“More than one third of consumers have claimed that sugar was the main driver for them reducing or stopping juice consumption. So, we have created Fresh & Light, made with delicious pressed fruits blended with water to provide a reduced sugar and refreshing juice drink for the whole family.
“In addition to offering 30% less sugar than traditional fruit juice, Tropicana Fresh & Light is also priced at an affordable entry point when compared to branded juices, offering consumers a healthy, refreshing option that won’t break the bank.”
