Ice cream collab rolls out along with new variants

ICE cream brand Wall’s is set to shake up the freezers this summer with the rollout of a tranche of NPD, including a team up with Haribo Goldbears.
Wall’s is uniting forces with the confectionery giant’s Goldbears sweets to launch a new Haribo Push Up ice cream both in a single and multipack format.
The new ice cream combines vanilla ice cream and sweet strawberry sauce with a push-up stick that has Haribo Gold Gummy Bears inside – complete with a unique and eye-catching design to help the NPD pop out in the freezer.
The collaboration aims to capture the attention of a broader shopper base and enhance product appeal by expanding into the confectionery category.
Alongside this new collaborative launch, Wall’s has also introduced a raft of options across its Solero, Twister, Cornetto and Carte D’Or brands.
Aiming to refresh treats for more adult consumers, the Solero brand has introduced its new Orange Burst variant. Coupled with a refreshed and modernised pack across the entire range, the new Orange Burst blends vanilla ice cream with a tangy sorbet that is covered in an orange and raspberry coating.

Twister is also set to bridge a gap between confectionery and ice cream with its new Twister Mallow variants. Combining sour raspberry and grape flavours with a creamy marshmallow swirl, the NPD aims to recruit more younger shoppers to the category through this sweet new addition.
Cornetto meanwhile has bolstered its Soft range of ice cream with the indulgent new Cornetto Soft Mango & White Chocolate cones. The new cone brings together a tangy mango sauce with mango ice cream and white chocolate ice cream before it is decorated with white chocolate curls.
And finally, Carte D’Or has teamed up with the Solero brand for its new indulgent Carte D’Or Solero Exotic ice cream frozen dessert. The new launch pairs Carte D’Or vanilla ice cream with Solero fruit sorbet, topped with the tangy Solero Exotic fruit sauce.
Finally, Carte D’Or has also expanded on its indulgent Minis range with a new Carte D’Or Lemon Meringue Pie variant that blends a smooth cookie and lemon flavour ice cream with lemon sauce and crunchy meringue pieces.
Emily Gooding, brand manager for Wall’s at Unilever, said: “We know that innovation is the number one driver for category growth, so this year we are bringing shoppers and retailers a host of new products that we hope will generate excitement and help boost ice cream sales.
“Our role as a market leader is to expand ice cream into new occasions and create new formats that shoppers can enjoy all year round, and this innovation across Twister, Solero, Cornetto and Carte D’Or, as well as our exciting collaboration with Haribo, will deliver just that.”
