Jack & Coke cans bring a bold new cherry twist

DRINKS giant Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has expanded on its range of alcoholic ready-to-drink (ARTD) options with its new Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola Cherry.
Rolling out nationwide from April, the new variant gives a twist to the iconic Jack & Coke canned serve with a fruit cherry blend to offer consumers a fresh and exciting taste in time for the summer months.
The Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola Cherry RTD will be available in 330ml plain and price-marked cans and features a bold purple stripe around the collar and a clear ‘Cherry’ label beneath to help differentiate between the variants.
To help amplify this new launch, wholesalers and convenience retailers have help transform their stores and depots with new POS kits. These include bollard covers, aisle fins and shelf strips, along with digital assets on My.CCEP.com to help drive up excitement both in store and online.
This launch builds on the range’s performance since the canned drinks rolled out to the market in March 2023, as Nielsen data found it was the best-selling RTD SKU in Great Britain in 2024.
Further to this, the range also won the ‘Pre-Mixed Spirit’ category at the Product of the Year 2025.
Elaine Maher, associate director for ARTD at CCEP GB, said: “This is such an exciting moment for the brand, for the category, and for us and our customers, and we’re confident the sweet cherry twist will be a massive hit with shoppers.
“With the RTD category now worth £554million in Great Britain, this launch is about more than just giving fans something fresh – it’s a brilliant opportunity to bring flavoured cola lovers into the category for the first time, with Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola Zero Cherry alone clocking up nearly £107million in sales to date.
“By drawing on insights from our soft drinks range, we’re helping our RTD line-up reach its full potential and continuing to drive growth in the category.
“We’re expecting huge demand for both in-store and online and ca’t wait to see this incredible new flavour fly off the shelves.”
