Stocking up ahead of sunny weather to come

CONFECTIONERY distributor World of Sweets has expanded on its range of frozen products with its new Bluey Ice Pops.
Ideal for families with children who are fans of the massively popular kids show, the Bluey branded Ice Pops contain 12 packs of natural fruit-flavoured freeze-at-home ice pops in four different variants: pineapple, strawberry, apple and blackcurrant.
Each ice pop is made with 25% real fruit juice and no added sugar, making them an attractive option for parents who are seeking more nutritious snacks for their children, especially during the summer months. Further to this, the ice pops contain no artificial flavour or colours and are compliant with English HFSS restrictions.
Iconic characters from the children’s TV programme feature across packaging including Bluey and her sister Bingo to help drive up sales and grab consumers’ attention across stores.
The Bluey Ice Pops will hit stores on 25 April, just in time for the peak summer sales period and retailers are urged to stock up in advance as World of Sweets reckons the treats will fly off shelves quickly.
The new Ice Pops also follow on from the success of other previous popular licensed products for the confectionery wholesaler, such as the PAW Patrol Freeze Pops.
Kathryn Hague, head of marketing at World of Sweets, said: “We’re thrilled to introduce Bluey Ice Pops to our freezables range. Licensed products consistently perform well, as kids love treats featuring their favourite characters.
“These ice pops not only taste great but are healthier than many alternatives, making them perfect for impulse purchases at checkout points. We encourage retailer to stock up on these and our other best-selling ice poles to maximise sales this summer.”
