Mas+ by Messi rolls out to the UK for the first time
FOOTBALL star Lionel Messi has rolled out his sports drink Más+ by Messi to the UK market for the first time as an exclusive listing across Spar stores.
The new drink will be available exclusively in Spar stores across England, Wales and Scotland from 10 March to 31 March in 500ml bottles with an RRP of £2.25 each.
Offering consumers a hydration drink bursting with electrolytes, vitamins, minerals and no artificial ingredients, the Más+ by Messi range comes in four different flavours: Limón Lime League, Miami Punch, Berry Copa Crush and Orange d’Or.
Miami Punch blends together berry with a hint of pineapple to help deliver a refreshing fruit punch taste, whilst Limón Lime League offers consumers a zesty citrus taste.
Berry Copa Crush brings together blueberries, raspberries, cherries and açaí berries and is inspired by the many trophies – including the World Cup – that Messi has lifted during his career.
And finally, Orange d’Or brings a refreshing orange taste inspired by Messi’s record eight wins of the Ballon d’Or French trophy.
Despite Más meaning more in Spanish, Más+ by Messi contains fewer sugar, carbs and calories than other sports drinks in the market, with just 1g of sugar and 10 calories per 500ml bottle.
