Massively popular snacks brand Takis is set to spice up the snacks category even further with the launch of its new Blue Heat variant in the UK.

MASSIVELY popular snacks brand Takis is set to spice up the snacks category with the launch of its new Blue Heat variant.

Following huge success for the brand across international markets, the striking blue flavour is available across grocery channels now before it rolls out across convenience in March.

Takis said the new launch taps into the continued demand for spicy snacks in the UK, as Circana data showed that the ‘Heat’ segment is out-performing the total crisps segment at 9% value sales, int he year to 24 November 2024.

The new flavour delivers an explosive combination of chilli and lime and is designed for those more adventurous snackers in the UK. The bold new offering joins the brand’s core line-up which also includes Fuego and Dragon Sweet Chilli.

Takis Blue Heat 100g is available in Co-op stores now, and will roll out across Morrisons Daily locations from 2 April, with an RRP of £2. The larger 180g pack will be available in Aldi stores from 6 March with an RRP of £2.99. And finally, the 55g £1.25 price-marked pack will be available in convenience from March as well.
