BRITISH chocolate bar brand KitKat has unveiled its sharing bar format, encouraging more consumers to enjoy a break together.

The brand new sharing bars aim to make sharing a break all the easier between consumers and encourage more “moments of connection” for people by sharing a delicious treat with friends and family.

Available for purchase now, the new Sharing Bars format comes in three flavours, with KitKat Double Chocolate, KitKat Salted Caramel and KitKat Hazelnut.

The Double Chocolate bar features a cocoa-flavoured filling on top of the brand’s signature wafer bars, all of which has been covered in milk and dark chocolate marbled swirls.

Meanwhile, the Salted Caramel variant features a salted caramel filling with milk chocolate and caramel flavoured swirls. And the Hazelnut bar has a hazelnut-flavoured filling with milk and dark chocolate marbled swirls.

Each sharing bar features multiple break-off pieces, making it ideal for enjoying with a group, and contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and are suitable for vegetarians.

Stephanie Scales, marketing manager for KitKat at parent company Nestlé UK and Ireland, said: “In today’s non-stop world, it’s far too easy to let the evenings disappear in a blur.

“We want KitKat fans to hit that pause button and really unwind at the end of the day, and what better way to do that than by catching up with your favourite people and sharing a delicious treat?

“KitKat’s always been about those feel-good breaks and now with sharing bars, we’re making it even easier to disconnect and reclaim your evenings.”
