Let everyone join in celebrations this Christmas
CHILEAN wine brand Casillero del Diablo has launched a new alcohol free sparkling wine variant with Casillero del Diablo Zero.
Made in response to a growing consumer demand for options for those moderating or cutting out alcohol from their lives, the wine has been gently ‘dealcoholized’ to produce a higher quality sparkling wine variant that wine drinkers can expect from the brand, says parent firm Concha y Toro (CyT) UK.
The zero alcohol sparkling wine has been made using 100% Chardonnay grapes and contains only 22 calories per 125ml glass.
Following extensive trials headed by winemaker Max Weinlaub, the new Casillero del Diablo Zero is available via several UK wholesaler and in independent retail with an RRP of £6 per bottle.
Claire Raine, brands controller at CyT UK, said: “We’re so pleased to launch this new Casillero del Diablo bottling, in the run-up to the festive season when many people will be looking for a quality non-alcoholic alternative.
“Our team has worked really hard to produce a sparkling wine which is worthy of the brand and the style. We’re delighted with the result.
“Almost two thirds of British adults either limit their alcohol consumption, or do not drink alcohol. These trends are being led primarily by younger adults, and we want to make sure we stay relevant and important to everyone.
“Consumers are now getting used to seeing no/low options from their favourite drinks brands.”
