Love Drinks has strengthened its portfolio of global drinks with the addition of two citrus flavoured Japanese gins from Etsu Gin.

GLOBAL spirits firm Love Drinks has unveiled a new Japanese duo to its range with new citrus flavoured Etsu Gin variants.

Available now for the retailer sector in 700ml bottles, the new gins offer consumers a “citrus-forward” and light drink with the Etsu Yuzu Gin as well as the Etsu Orange Gin.

Both come bottled with an ABV of 43% with RSPs sitting at £52.68, making the pair an ideal option for gifting this coming Christmas season.

Both gins have been distilled at the Akita Distillery on Honshu Island in Japan and have been made using natural ingredients from the area, with traditional botanicals consisting of Japanese yuzu – an aromatic citrus fruit typically found in Asia – bitter orange peel, juniper berries, liquorice root, angelica, coriander and matcha.

The gins are also made using sugar cane molasses, which Love Drinks says helps to bring a more rounded feeling to the drink. Further to this, each gin’s ABV has been reduced using mountain spring water.

Samantha Burke, managing director at Love Drinks, said: “The Etsu Gin and Pacific have been stand-out performers for us, which shows that there is still plenty of interest in quality world gins that offer something unique.

“Etsu does exactly that through their production methods and botanicals so we’re delighted to bring in these latest SKUs as Asian drinks continue to boom.”
