Eisberg builds non-alc wine option for Christmas

Pinot Noir rolls out to Morrisons stores

Non-alcoholic wine brand Eisberg aims to cover consumers looking to cut back on alcohol consumption this Christmas with its new Selection Pinot Noir.

NON-ALCOHOLIC wine brand Eisberg reckons it can capture the demand from the ‘sober-curious’ customers this Christmas with its new Selection Pinot Noir.

Available from Morrisons stores on 1 November, the new non-alc Pinot Noir wine comes in a 700ml bottle with a price point of £8 – or just £6 with Morrisons More.

The brand said it noticed a shift in curiosity for non-alcoholic options, especially in the wine market, and now, Eisberg reckons it can deliver for those shoppers with its new Pinot Noir.

This follows on from a new survey conducted by Eisberg that found 36% of respondents were looking to try and cut down or cut out alcohol.

And with the expectation to indulge over the Christmas period, the non-alcoholic wine brand believes this new launch will allow consumers to still indulge in the flavour, without the sore head the next day.

Dan Harwood, managing director for Schloss Wachenheim Wines Europe – the firm behind Eisberg – said:”Our existing Signature range is affordable and people love that they can pick up a bottle for £3-4 without really having to think about it.

“But there’s definitely been a shift, as the moderation trend has grown, to people looking for higher quality alcohol free wines, which is where Selection comes in.”

“We are thrilled to be launching our Pinot Noir in Morrisons in November. It’s a rich red making it the perfect tipple for the festive period, pairing well with mince pies, chocolate and Christmas dinner.

“Everything about it, from the flavours to the branding has been considered, to make sure it still feels like a real wine.

“We want people to enjoy the experience of a glass of our Selection wines, in the same way you would if it had alcohol.

“By gently removing the alcohol from our wine, the flavour profile remains easily identifiable in comparison to the alcohol versions you love.”
