Festive confectionery range unveiled for 2024

Nestlé has unveiled its new confectionery range for the festive season 2024 with new launches and returning favourites across its brands.

CONFECTIONERY firm Nestlé has unveiled its Christmas selection for 2024, complete with new and returning treats for consumers to sink their teeth into this year.

Kicking off with the Aero brand, Nestlé has rolled out its new Aero Orange Bubbles Sharing Pouch, complete with an aerated orange flavoured centre with a half milk chocolate, half orange flavoured shell.

Adding to the further festive cheer, Smarties has debuted its new Smarties Elf Treats Giant Tube, packed with a unique mix of red and green Smarties for consumers.

And for the white chocolate enthusiast shoppers, the Milkybar brand has the new Milkybar Fairy Lights. The new launch combines the brand’s white chocolate with mini milk chocolate pieces across the bar in a festive fairy lights design.

There will also be a new Nestlé White Chocolate Selection Box as well which includes Milkybar, Lion Bar Duo White, Smarties White and two KitKat Chunky White bars.

Ever the staple for Christmas confectionery as well, the Quality Street brand has kicked off its expansive selection for the festive season this year. First up is its limited-edition tin for 2024, which for this year is inspired by the brand’s hometown of Halifax.

Further to this, the brand will be looking to increase sales for the sharing opportunities this year with the Quality Street Pouches range. For fondant lovers there is the Quality Street Mixed Creme Pouch which brings together Strawberry Delight and Orange Creme variants in one pack.

Pack shot of Matchmakers Hazelnut.Further to this there is also the Quality Street Golden Selection Pouch which caters to toffee and caramel fans in the UK. Each pack contains the Caramel Swirl, Toffee Finger and Toffee Penny variants.

And Quality Street Matchmakers is seeing some love for the festive season as well, with a new variant in for 2024 with a new Hazelnut flavour. Filled with crunchy pieces in a blend of milk and dark chocolate, the new nutty flavour makes the most of the seasonal hazelnut flavour.

Jemma Handley, senior brand manager for Quality Street, said: “Quality Street has been part of Christmas traditions for 88 years and this year’s beautiful Quality Street tin design really highlights that.

“It takes inspiration from the brand’s Halifax heritage, where the sweets are still manufactured today. We can’t wait to share the new design with Quality Street fans as it rolls out across stores nationwide from this month.”

Consumers looking to keep the countdown to Christmas alive will be in luck with Nestlé as well as the firm has rolled out its Advent Calendar selection for this year too. This will see the usual Milkybar Advent Calendar joined on shelf by the new KitKat Advent Calendar, full of festive shaped KitKat shaped milk chocolate treats with crispy wafer pieces.

KitKat will also see a new selection box under the tree this year too which pulls together favourites from the brand’s range including two KitKat Four Finger bars, KitKat Chunky Peanut Butter, KitKat Chunky White and KitKat Santa.
