Retail specialist takes on head position

Independent retail specialist Taranjit Singh Dhillon has been appointed as the new head of retail at Nisa, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the symbol.

INDEPENDENT retail specialist Taranjit Singh Dhillon has been appointed as the new head of retail at symbol group Nisa.

Taranjit will take on the responsibility for the development of Nisa’s retail strategy going forward to help deliver for the symbol’s diverse network of customer stores.

He is set to join the team with 20 years of retail experience under his belt, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge of the convenience sector.

Taranjit will join the retail & sales leadership team headed up by Katie Secretan, director of sales and retail at Nisa. Speaking on his appointment, Secretan said: “I’m thrilled to have Taranjit join the Nisa team.

“His hands-on experience in independent retail and ability to build franchise relationships is exactly what we need to take our retailer proposition to the next level, and I’m confident he’s the right person to lead our retail team.”

In his most recent role, Taranjit was repsonsible for overseeing 350 One Stop franchisees, working with retail teams to optimise store layouts and implementing strategies to maximise revenue and profitability.

Prior to his role at One Stop, Taranjit also held senior roles at Lidl and PepsiCo, helping to bring a wide-ranging knowledge to the team at Nisa when he takes on the role from 9 September.
