London-based brewery Camden Town Brewery has embraced the classic beer serve the Lager Top in its new addition to its core range of beers.

LONDON founded beer brewery brand Camden Town Brewery has embraced a classic beer option with its new Camden Lager Top.

The lemon lager is now a part of Camden’s core collection of beers and is available exclusively in Morrisons stores now.

Lager Top comes in two different pack formats with a four pack of 330ml cans and a 12 pack of 330ml cans. RRPs for the two formats sit at £3.99 and £9.99 respectively.

Boasting a light and refreshing lemon lager addition to its range, the new Camden Lager Top has a lower ABV of 3.4% offering consumers a refreshing option for this summer that cuts back on the alcohol consumption.

The variant was initially launched as a limited-edition beer as part of Camden’s small batch innovation series but is now being moved to the brand’s core collection alongside its Hells, Pale Ale IPA, Eazy IPA and Stout.

Mark Wingfield Digby, off-trade director at Budweiser Brewing Group – the parent firm behind the Camden Town Brewery brand – said: “We are really excited to continue to grow the Camden Family with our latest Camden innovation, Camden Lager Top and we couldn’t be happier to be partnering with Morrisons on this launch.

“We are always looking to develop fresh new beers to help grow the craft category and Camden Lager Top will do exactly this.

“Launching in time for summer, this refreshing Lemon Lager innovation offers an inclusive, lower-ABV alternative to our best seller, Camden Hells.”

John Morris, category director for beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks and tobacco at Morrisons, said: “Morrisons is incredibly pleased to be able to partner with Budweiser Brewing Group to bring their new Camden innovation, Camden Lager Top to life exclusively in Morrisons.

“This provides a great opportunity to continue to grow the craft category and tap into the latest consumer trends. The plans we have built with Budweiser Brewing Group look fantastic and we can’t wait for this to go live in store to surprise and delight our customers.”
