Mondelez International unveils its festive range ahead of the season
CHRISTMAS has come early for Mondelez International as the firm has unveiled its festive chocolate selection.
With the Golden Quarter presenting a valuable time for convenience store retailers, being clued up on what will be available to hit store shelves this year will more than pay off – as shop owners can prepare in advance for what’s going to arrive.
Bringing back staples for the season as well as introducing some new innovations in the process, the range includes a variety of chocolate goodies that are sure to keep consumers smiling as they count down the day to Christmas morning.
Kicking things off with what’s new for this year, Mondelez is set to launch a new 340g Cadbury Dairy Milk Advent Calendar containing 10 Cadbury Dairy Milk Chunks, five Cadbury Dairy Milk Robins, four Hazelnut Jingly Bells, four Caramel Chunks and a 100g Winter Wonderland Bar all inside one calendar.
And to bring a further boost to the Dairy Milk branding, Mondelez has unveiled its new Cadbury Dairy Milk Money Box Tin and Dairy Milk Coins to help drive sales in the gifting sector, with the Coins as a surefire winner for stocking stuffers this year.
Further to this, the Coins also shout out that the firm will be donating 100,000 treats to The Trussell Trust food banks this Christmas on packs.
New to the Cadbury selection this year, Mondelez will launch an extended Cadbury Buttons Selection Box that includes Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons and Orange Buttons, Cadbury Dairy Milk Salted Caramel Nibbles as well as its Cadbury Caramilk Buttons.
The firm has also expanded on its Cadbury Chunk Collection from last year, with the addition of the new Caramilk Chunk for this year.
Finally for Cadbury, Mondelez has confirmed that its Cadbury Dairy Milk Winter Orange Crisp tablet bar will be made available across all channels for this Christmas, as well as an additional 296g Cadbury Mini Snowballs Family Pack, which Mondelez said is designed to be shared on cosy nights in.
But that’s far from all the festive chocolate news from Mondelez, as the firm has also revealed its new Toblerone Truffles box as a premium gifting option for this festive season as well.
A spokesperson for Mondelez said: “Christmas is an extremely valuable time of year for retailers up and down the country.
“Cadbury is Britain’s biggest brand and Mondelez confectionery brands are a pivotal driver of seasonal success, with an extensive range based on a deep understanding of shopper and consumer needs throughout the season.”
