Taylors’ hunger for growth
CRISPS firm Taylors Snacks is keen to grow its presence across Scotland with new listings in major supermarkets.
Available in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Asda and in convenience, this marks the first time consumers can buy the newly launched crisp brand, which has replaced the Mackie’s crisps and popcorn lines after Taylor’s Snacks bought Mackie’s of Scotland out of the firm.
Taylors has also invested over £400,000 into a TV, radio and digital OOH marketing campaign to push the brand further with consumers.
The firm produces over 500,000 packets of crisps per week, with flavours ranging from Pickled Onion to classic Sea Salt.
James Taylor, managing director at Taylors Snacks, said: “We’ve been on a journey in the past year, refining market insight and crafting a Taylors brand that we’re all so proud of.
“We’re delighted some of the country’s leading supermarkets have taken to the new look straight away.
“By placing it on the snacks aisles around the country, we’re hoping that it allows new customers to fall in love with our produce, while keeping the crisps accessible to our long-standing customers.”
A wrap-id expansion
HEALTHY food to go firm Pollen + Grace has unveiled a new range of wraps.
Two new variants join the selection – Italian Pesto + Roasted Veg Wrap and Mexican Chipotle Burrito Wrap.
Available in Co-op, WHSmith and Wholefoods stores now, with an RRP of £4.25 per wrap, the plant-based foods firm also noted that a third addition would be coming in time for Christmas, in the form of an Indian Chickpea Masala Wrap.
Pollen + Grace said this marks a key step towards its “dynamic growth vision” to extend its plant-based and nutritious meals to more consumers.
Stephanie Kingston and Kristina Komlosiova, co-founders of Pollen + Grace, said: “It’s been a brilliant year for us so far at Pollen + Grace, and we’re delighted to be continuing our trajectory of growth and innovation with the launch of our new wrap range. Our mission has always been to help people eat better.”
