World of Sweets upgrades its app and online services to offer round the clock support
CONFECTIONERY wholesaler and importer World of Sweets has updated and upgraded its service to customers via its app, online store and field sales team.
Known for its wide range of sweets including Crazy Candy Factory, Bonds of London as well as US imports such as Nerds, Tootsie Rolls and Warheads, World of Sweets said its latest updates come about to create an improved customer experience including the ability to take direct card payments.
Retailers can browse and order sweets that suit their stores straight from the newly updated app and website from across the World of Sweets portfolio, with delivery within 48 hours on a minimum order of ten cases.
Deals will also automatically be added at checkout ensuring retailers can get the best offers available.
Helen Bradshaw, sales and marketing director at World of Sweets, said: “This is an exciting time for the business and an exciting one for our retail customers too.
“We want them to enjoy and share with their customers all the wonderful confectionery our buyers source from around the globe and be ahead of their competition when it comes to offering their customers the very best.
“The range through World of Sweets offers is vast. We have exciting products under Bonds of London, including the Candy Cup range and the Pun Boxes plus traditional sweetshop favourite.
“Retailers will also be able to purchase from our extensive American range and partner brands including Anthon Berg, Warheads, Nerds and Vimto.”
In addition to the tech upgrades, World of Sweets has also renamed its fields sales team. Formerly Bonds fields sales team, the World of Sweets field sales team aims to bring a personal element for their customers, according to the firm, looking to build up relationships with retailers with advice to support confectionery sales growth.
The field sales team will keep retailers up to date on the latest merchandising solutions as well according to World of Sweets including the Bonds Candy Cup stand as well as American confectionery units that the confectioner believes will catch the attention of plenty of shoppers.
Bradshaw said: “As a major distributor, importer and wholesaler of confectionery, it’s important for us to work closely with the convenience retailers who purchase from us to ensure their business growth and success.
“These recent improvements do just that. Having a main personal contact means retailers won’t miss anything and being able to purchase products to suit them makes the whole process far more convenient. Both an equal and improved customer experience.”
