FINSBURY Food Group has kicked off the new year with three new cake launches.
The new arrivals sees the firm extend its partnership with celebrity baker Mary Berry, with two new variants.
Mary Berry Raspberry Ripple Cake and Indulgent Chocolate Cake are available now in Sainsbury’s at £3.75 RRP.
Finsbury said the new cakes are inspired by Mary Berry’s own personal recipes, with the Raspberry Ripple a fruity twist on the classic Victoria Sponge cake topped with cream cheese frosting. The Indulgent Chocolate Cake includes a chocolate ganache buttercream with milk and white chocolate curls on top.
Finsbury has also expanded its Thorntons cakes selection with Strawberry Dream Bites.
A limited-edition treat for the Easter season, these brownie bites have a layer of strawberry filling and a Thorntons milk chocolate covering. Thorntons Strawberry Dream Bites are available to buy at an RRP of £1.80 across Co-op, Nisa, Spar and Tesco stores.
