UK investor the Bestway Group has raised over $2 million to support victims of the devastating floods that have hit Pakistan.
The Group has pledged to use this money to build news homes and shelters for 5000 families, provide usable water for over 100,000 individuals and provide food and medicine for more than 20,000 people that have been displaced as a result of the devastating floods.
Funds have been raised through donations and collections via Bestway Group’s wholesale sector, along with a JustGiving page that the company has set up.
Dawood Pervez, managing director at Bestway Wholesale, said: “Every $1 we have raised will go towards this cause and our teams on the ground are already supporting families with housing, clothing and food and water.”
