THE maker of Tetley tea – Tata Consumer Products (TCP) – has appointed David Atkinson as senior vice-president to head up its UK & Ireland team.
The move comes as TCP brings together its three core brands of Tetley, teapigs and Good Earth under one roof for the first time – combining its interests in tea and ready-to-drink products.
Atkinson, formerly Hain Daniels Group grocery managing director, said: “We are at a moment of great opportunity for our tea brands. TCP has big plans for growth which I will be working with the team to deliver at pace.
“Innovation and consumer experience will be at the core of everything we do and I’m looking forward to the challenge ahead.”
