Expo returns with face-to-face event
NISA’S annual retail exhibition was held live and in person for the first time since 2019, last month.
Following two years of virtual events due to Covid restrictions, Nisa Expo made its return at the NAEC Stoneleigh over 27 and 28 September.
The return to a face-to-face show allowed Nisa customers and suppliers to come together once again to connect across the two-day event.
Over 200 suppliers were in attendance over the two days. This year’s Nisa Expo was
promoted under the banner: ‘Engage, Inspire, Trade.’
During the Expo, attendees were able to gain insights from category talks and panel discussions. There was alsoplenty of sampling activity and opportunities to network.
Also making a return for the event was the Expo’s black tie gala dinner and awards
ceremony. All profits made from the sale of gala dinner ticket sales were donated to Nisa’s Making a Difference Locally charity.
There were a total of 14 awards up for grabs during the night, including two new gongs: Forecourt Retailer of the Year and Store Development of the Year for both Nisa fascia and independent or dual branded outlets.
On top of this, each supplier that purchased a ticket was entered into a prize draw. Suppliers were offered the chance of winning one of 15 £1,000 donations to be shared in the local community of the nearest independent Nisa store, via a MADL donation.
Jenny Potts, events manager at Nisa, said: “Every year, we strive to deliver a great event for all our customers and suppliers, and we know the gala dinner presents a brilliant opportunity for everyone to relax, enjoy the entertainment, the company and catch up with friends and associates.”
