GLASGOW-based wholesaler JW Filshill has teamed up with GroceryAid to offer mental health support to depot staff.
The wholesaler now has 23 mental health first aiders on staff and has been informing all of its members of GroceryAid’s services, including the charity’s 24/7 helpline.
GroceryAid’s 24/7 helpline number is now displayed on posters in Keystore staff rooms and Filshill drivers have each received a keyring that has the number.
Amanda Casey, health and safety manager at JW Filshill, said: “In the last two years, at Filshill we have repositioned the business to put mental health and wellbeing at the heart of everything.
“So, we are delighted to work with GroceryAid to strengthen what we are doing to support our staff by getting the message across that both Filshill and GroceryAid are there for our customers too.”
