FOOD to go is bouncing back, with new research suggesting the category will exceed 2019 turnover figures.
Lumina Intelligence has predicted that the UK food to go market will hit a value of £23 billion in 2025, with convenience store grab and go set to remain the largest channel in the category, with a market share of 28.3%.
Blonnie Whist, insight director at Lumina, said the category was well placed to recover after the Covid pandemic, adding that forecasts “indicate a full recovery by the end of 2022.”
