SOFT drinks giant Britvic has rolled out a new format for 7Up Free Cherry.
The new 500ml format is available now and will be supported through digital media and an out-of-home campaign running from May until the end of August.
Nielsen data for the year to 25 December 2021 found that the 7Up Free Cherry flavour was worth £5.7 million, which Britvic said will help the new format with on-the-go sales.
Phil Sanders, out of home commercial director at Britvic, said: “We know that sugar free choices are of particular importance in the fruit carbonates segment, having grown 18% in the last two years.
“As retailers and their shoppers start preparing for summer, the 500ml 7Up Free Cherry is ideal for tapping into on-the-go impulse purchases for picnics and other snacking occasions.”
