WEETABIX Food Company is on course to hit its 99% recyclable packaging milestone by summer 2022.
A key change in achieving this comes from moving the protein line of its Weetabix On the Go brand to recyclable PET bottles which will reducing each pack’s carbon footprint by 7%.
Weetabix plans to transition to 100% recyclable packaging by 2025 – the deadline set by circular economy charity WRAP as part of its UK Plastics Pact.
