SIMON Millard has been appointed the new director of food at FareShare.
Millard brings a wealth of experience to the charity, having previously served as UK commercial director at IRI and channel director of Premier Foods.
Millard commented on his appointment: “I’m incredibly proud to join FareShare to lead the team that partners with the UK food industry, helping businesses use their surplus food to achieve charitable outcomes.”
Lindsay Boswell, chief executive of FareShare, said: “Simon brings with him a wealth of experience to this new role and will help us reach our ambitious targets.”
