DAWNFRESH Seafoods has announced a £5 million expansion to its Arbroath site.
The expansion will secure the future of over 300 jobs in Scotland, with Dawnfresh seeking to incentivise staff to move from the soon to close Uddingston site to Arbroath.
Raleigh Salveson, managing director of Dawnfresh Seafoods, noted the expansion will “provide a platform for future growth,” as it continues to adapt in a competitive marketplace.
Salveson added: “This move is critical if we are to meet our objective of keeping seafood production jobs in Scotland.”
