MONDELEZ has launched a new social media campaign for Mikado, encouraging consumers to pick up the Japanese-style snack when they’re on the go.
Running across Facebook and Instagram, the campaign highlights a number of different out-of-home occasions and is expected to reach 12.5 million shoppers.
Mikado variants featured include Mikado Milk Chocolate Biscuits, Mikado Daim Chocolate Biscuits and Mikado & Go Milk Chocolate biscuits.
To support the campaign, Mondelez is rolling out new Mikado POS materials. These include a gutter tray, shelf highlighter, clipstrips and posters.
Mondelez said the campaign will only be running for a “limited time”, so retailers are encouraged to stock up now.
