A new look Spar lorry made a special delivery at Spar Blantyre to meet eight-year-old Alisha Razzaq who had come up with the design for the new livery.
Alisha took part in a competition during lockdown and came out ahead of hundreds of entrants to have her drawing realised on the side of the vehicle.
She said: “It was so exciting to see the Spar lorry arrive at the store with my picture on it. It looks huge.
“I’m really happy with how it has turned out. It’s bright and colourful with the sunshine, green grass, flowers and trees.
“I can’t believe everyone is going to see that it was me who designed it.”
Spar Scotland marketing manager, Paula Middleton, said: “Alisha’s picture made us all smile.
“We are sure our colourful lorry will also make everyone smile when they see it delivering food and drink around Scotland.”
