WITH the trend of alcohol reduction not going anywhere soon, premium soft drinks could be a breakout star of 2020.

Amy Burgess, senior trade communications manager at Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) said: “Adult soft drinks are likely to be a popular choice moving into 2020 as consumers look for more sophisticated soft drinks options to enjoy at home. This includes products like Appletiser, which is in growth by 30.4%

“Appletiser helps retailers to offer a sophisticated alternative to alcohol that the growing number of teetotal consumers are happy to drink, while others may be having beer, wine or cocktails.”
