WHOLESALER CJ Lang has appointed Christie & Co to sell eight of its Spar branded stores across Scotland.
The stores, including High St, Invergordon; Portland St, Troon; Holburn St, Aberdeen; Central Ave, Gretna; Whitesands, Dumfries; Hilltown, Dundee; Whitletts, Ayr and High St, Carnoustie were brought to market to allow CJ Lang to “further grow” its estate.
The sale of the eight stores will bring the firm’s portfolio to a total of 108 sites, with plans to add three new greenfield sites across the central belt during 2019.
Daniel Arrandale, director at Christie & Co said: “The sites represent an ideal opportunity for both experienced operators or first-time buyers to acquire an established convenience store business at a competitive price.
“The stores offer the usual standard services, with six offering Post Office services and two with an in-store Subway franchise.”
