PANTOMIME season might seem a long way off, but preparations are already in place for one of the biggest events on the theatre calendar.
Dairy brand Rowan Glen has announced it plans to renew a sponsorship agreement with Edinburgh King’s Theatre’s annual pantomime production, following the success of last year’s partnership.
This year’s pantomime, Beauty and the Beast, will unite dame Allan Stewart, ‘eejit’ Andy Gray and resident villain Grant Stott in their 15th King’s Edinburgh panto together.
Rowan Glen sales director Danny Cairney said: “The pantomime brings so much enjoyment to families from across the country, and we are proud that Rowan Glen will play a starring role, for the second year running, in what is a much-anticipated annual highlight for many.
“This wonderful explosion of festive fun never fails to put a smile on everyone’s face and we’re very excited to be part of this year’s magical journey of enchantment in one of the most loved fairy tales of all time, Beauty and the Beast.”
Rowan Glen’s offers a range of dairy products including yogurt, yogurt drinks, butters and spreads, and cheese.
Recent activity from Rowan Glen includes the launch of its new on-the-go dairy drink Bonnie Shots and a packaging revamp for its low-fat bio yogurt range.
