Scotland gets its own cola

THERE is a new cola in town to compete for Scottish consumers’ attention.

Alba Cola was launched with a clear Scottish identity in mind, and is bottled using spring water from the Cairngorm National Park.

The new cola is available in both a full sugar and sugar free version, which at 7.8mg per 100ml is said to contain 25% less sugar content than other leading full sugar colas.

Christopher Ewing founder of Alba commented: “We don’t aim to conquer the world, or smash Coca Cola into oblivion.

“We simply hope to provide a quality, Scottish alternative to an already well established consumer base.”

Alba Cola is available in 330ml bottles and has an RRP of £1.90.
