A NEW premix brand has landed with a bang in Scotland’s independent sector, rolling out to more than 70 stores across the country in the space of weeks.
The new MJS Bartender’s range has been popping up in stores from Falkirk to Ardrossan in recent weeks, with orders ramping up following the brand’s official launch on 6 July.
MJS Bartender’s premix range is available in two variants: Remix V, a cheeky vimto flavoured concoction with lime and Tequila; and Snake Bite, with lime and tequila. Both flavours are 8% ABV and available in 440ml can format, with an RRP of £2.99
Brand owner Manpreet Bawa said the launch of MJS Bartenders premix cocktails comes at the perfect time, thanks to a gap in the market opened up by the implementation of minimum unit pricing as retailers reassess their alcohol range.
Linda McGlauglan, MJS Bartender’s marketing manager, said: “The range fills the gap in the market for a caffeine-free pre-mixed drink that tastes great in either a can or glass. We’re not yet stocked in multiples, so this is a great chance for independent retailers to get ahead of their competition.”
